Making the energy transition tangible at scale
Following its debut at the Olympic Games, Missie H2 evolved into a travelling national platform.
Across major public events in the Netherlands, hydrogen was translated into an accessible and engaging experience - reaching a broad audience including families, students, industry visitors and policymakers.
Not just informing, but making the energy transition visible, understandable and relevant at scale.
Beewan designed and realised a modular experience concept, enabling consistent storytelling across multiple locations and audiences.

The Context
The platform travelled across the Netherlands, activating audiences at:
- Wereldhavendagen – Rotterdam
- Wind Meets Gas – Groningen (Grote Markt)
- Zeehavendagen – Amsterdam
- Open Day – Eemshaven
- DelfSail – Delfzijl
Each event brought together a different audience – from local communities to industry stakeholders.
The challenge was not just reach.
It was consistency.
The Challenge
How do you translate a complex energy transition into an experience that works for:
- school classes and families
- industry professionals
- policymakers and public stakeholders
And how do you maintain clarity and relevance across different locations, audiences and contexts?
The Strategy
Missie H2 was developed as a modular experience platform – designed for mobility, scalability and consistency.
Two core elements formed the foundation:
Mindset Dome
An immersive film experience connecting the energy transition to ambition, performance and long-term thinking.
Interactive Dome
A hands-on environment where visitors actively engaged with hydrogen across the value chain.
Together, they created a clear and repeatable experience – adaptable to each location while maintaining a consistent narrative.
The Experience
Arrival – attracting attention
The domes created a strong visual presence within busy public environments.
Immersion – setting the narrative
The Mindset Dome introduced the energy transition through a cinematic experience.
Engagement – making it tangible
In the Interactive Dome, visitors explored hydrogen through hands-on installations focused on:
- production
- storage
- transport
- applications
Complexity became accessible.
Participation – broad engagement
Visitors did not just observe.
They participated, learned and interacted.
